c’est moi

Welcome! My name is Laurel. I live just outside of Washington, DC, but am originally from the great Midwest. I work currently as the librarian in an academic library in DC, and I’m a reviewer for Library Journal. My dream is to be a children’s or young adult librarian in some fashion. I love literature, learning, and libraries, all of which will be on display on this blog.

  2. Hi, Laurel, I noticed you commented on Seekerville. You live near Washington DC? My daughter is getting ready to start school at the University of Maryland in College Park. She’s moving from Nebraska!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m trying to be proud (which I am) and supportive when I want to lock her in the basement.
